Here are the Rules...
All prices and availabilities are subject to change without notice. That being said, if you order an item at a particular price, we will honour this price - we're not a corporation - however, it may be a difference price when you come back to get another one. These things happen - refunds and price adjustments will not be done because of this, so please don't make us feel bad about saying no by asking.
Residensts of Canada will be subject to General Sales Tax (5%) and residents of Ontario will be subject to both General Sales Tax and Provincial Sales Tax (8%). International buyers may be subject to customs fees, or taxation from their country of residence. Absynthetika is only responsible for ensuring that Canadian taxes get paid, so disputes for any additional charges not paid directly to Absynthetika should be directed to the proper agency and not Absynthetika.
As to shipping times, Absynthetika will be responsible for ensuring that we send out your item in the time period specified at your time of order, but we are NOT responsible for delays in the postal service. We will send out an email confirming that your item(s) has been shipped out which will include, if possible, a tracking number. This is where our responsibilities end. Please refer to Canada Post regarding shipping delays beyond this. Let us also remind you that items are not shipped out until payment has been confirmed for Absynthetika by Paypal.
Due to the nature of many of our items, exchanges and refunds will not be given on custom orders. We depend on you to provide us with your proper measurements, and there is an instructional on the website for doing this correctly. It is your responsibility to ensure that the numbers you provide are correct. We will send you an email confirming your measurements, and if there is anything unusual, we will ask you to remeasure (no offence will be intended if this happens). If there is a problem with the construction of a custom order item, Absynthetika will repair the item and return it to you within 30 days of receipt of item. We must receive an email outlining the problem with the garment within the first 7 days that you receive it. This will allow us to decide if the problem was the fault of Absynthetika, or if there's an easy solution which will save you sending it back (which also allows you to keep your stuff). For off'-the-rack items, exchanges will be allowed within 30 days of your receipt. Again, Absynthetika must receive an email outlining reason for exchange within 7 days. The purchaser will be responsible for postage if the reason for exchange is not deemed the fault of Absynthetika (and let us remind you, that incorrect sizing is NOT our fault, as you are responsible for giving us your measurements). If the error was ours, we will pay postage for exchange.
Payments can be made through our website. All payments are processed through Paypal, which is lovely and secure. You do not need to have a Paypal account to use our site - Paypal will process credit card payments without an account.
Like all big legal things, the above is also subject to change without notice. If you've bothered to read all of this, please come back once and awhile and read it again. Absynthetika will send out notifications to subscribers of any changes in our terms and conditions.
